Chapter 20 Religion We are called to discipleship

justice the virtue that helps us to give to God and our neighbors what is rightfully theirs
fortitude this virtue helps us act bravely in the face of troubles and fears
temperance this virtue helps us keep our desires under control and balance our use of material goods
cardinal virtues guide our minds and actions and lead a good life

Mary our model of virtue and discipleship, Jesus' first disciple
What can members of the church can do show the love of Christ to others? 1) share the Good News 2) pray and work for justice and peace 3) visit those who are sick or elderly 4) volunteer in shelters for those who are homeless and in soup kitchens
