Professionals and their Professions

plumber someone who fits and mends water, gas and sewage pipes in your home
traffic warden a person who is appointed to report traffic offences and supervise road traffic
mason a skilled worker or builder in stone
tailor a person who cuts and makes suits, overcoats etc.
welder a person whose job is to weld materials together
chef a professional cook, typically the chief cook in a hotel or restaurant
dustman a person who collects the rubbish from houses
miner someone whose job is to dig coal, gold etc. from the ground
accountant someone whose job is to look after money accounts
caretaker someone whose job is to look after a school or other large building
