TermDefinition
Associative Property of Addition Propiedad asociativa de la suma The grouping of the addends does not change the sum. La agrupación de los sumandos no cambia la suma.
Commutative Property of Addition Propiedad conmutativa de la suma The order in which two numbers are added does not change the sum. El orden en que se suman dos números no cambia la suma.
Identity Property of Addition Propiedad de identidad de la suma For any number, zero plus that number is the number. Para cualquier número, cero más ese número es el número.
Equation Ecuación A sentence that contains an equal sign (=), showing that two expressions are equal. Una oración que contiene un signo igual (=), que muestra que dos expresiones son iguales.
Unknown la incógnita An amount whose value needs to be found. Una cantidad cuyo valor necesita ser encontrado.
Subtrahend Sustraendo A number that is subtracted from another number. Un número que se resta de otro número.
