| Interrogative | a word or sentence used when asking a question: "Who" and "why" are interrogatives. |
| Trajectory | the curved path that an object follows after it has been thrown or shot into the air: the trajectory of a bullet/missile |
| Fossil | the shape of a bone, a shell, or a plant or animal that has been preserved in rock for a very long period |
| Stimulus | something that causes growth or activity: Foreign investment has been a stimulus to the industry. The book will provide a stimulus to research in this very important area. |
