is Hashem the only existing thing that has power? YES
if Hashem is the only being that really exists, then what comes from Him? everything comes from Hashem
what is the definition of love? Ahava=love and Hav=give
how can you have a relationship with Hashem? by choosing to do the right thing even though doing the bad thing is more tempting
how can you Identify with Him? identify the good things about Him
how can we do things like Him? we create good and then feel a connection with Him
why is "fear of Hashem" the most basic thing? because you can’t form a relationship without boundaries.
what does "ideal vs reality- creation" mean? Hashem gave us the ideal things that we have to do but the reality is that we have trouble with that
what does "Beginning of wisdom-something above us" mean? something who doesn’t have fear, doesn’t have respect 2 types of fear: 1) fear of punishment 2) fear of awe
whats the difference between Judaism vs christianity? christianity says that God sent a person who was His son and he did all of our mitzvot and aveiros for us but judaism is that we all account for our avairos and we daven to Hashem for Him to forgive us
what does "Having parts is limiting" mean? if Hashem had parts, His power would be limited
how do not leave the path of Judaism? you have a mitzvah to keep in mind that you need to keep the Torah
what does the first mamarei chazal mean? 1 minute is better than all of the good things in the next world
what does the second mamarei chazal mean? teshuva, tefilla, tzedakah, saves us from a bad decree
