| in turn | 1. one after the other. "everyone took it in turn to attack my work" 2. used to convey that an action, process, or situation is the result of a previous one. "he would shout until she, in her turn, lost her temper" |
| fond of sth/sb/doing | 1 : having a liking for or love of (someone or something) : doing (something) a lot I'm fond of skiing. She grew quite fond of him. 2 : doing (something) a lot She's fond of asking silly questions. |
| diasallow | refuse to declare valid. "he was offside and the goal was disallowed" |
| allowable | allowed, especially within a set of regulations; permissible. "the loan deal has been extended to the maximum allowable three months" |
