endeavor- An earnest effort toward a goal; try
plummet to fall straight down; plunge
hoist- to raise or haul up; lift; heave
methodically having ordered and systematic habits of behavior
flank- to be placed or situated at the sides of; to protect the sides of
vague- not clearly or distinctly expressed or felt
strewn- scattered around; spread out
lurk- to move secretly
egress- a path or opening for going out; exit
convoluted- having numerous overlapping folds or coils
vicious- having an evil nature
kiosk- a small structure used as a newsstand or a booth
refugee- one who leaves in search of safety (ex: leaving your country in times of war)
catastrophe- - a sudden and widespread disaster
