Matrices

This stack teaches how to add, subtract, and multiply matrices

QuestionAnswer
scalar multiplication This is when a matrix is multiplied by a constant
matrix an array of numbers enclosed by brackets
row numbers are arranged in a horizontal manner
column number are arranged in a vertical manner
square matrix equal number of columns and rows
elements entry in a matrix
adding matrices add the same elements of two matrices together
subtracting matrices subtract the same elements of two matrices together
multiply matrices number of columns in first matrix must be the same as the rows in the second
