Vocab Words Vocab Def.
Savings Account a type of bank account that allows you to deposit and withdrawal money and it earns interest.
Deposit A sum of money you put INTO the bank ( adding )
Checking Account an account that is held financial institution that allows withdrawals and deposits.
Credit add(an amount of money) to an account. An entry in a checking account as an amount received.
Withdrawal a sum of money that you TAKE OUT of the bank.
Debit subtraction ( an amount of money ) to an account.An entry in a checking account as and amount owed ( money coming out from the account).
Addend a number that is added to another in an addition problem.
Addition the process of finding the total number of items when two or more groups of items are joined; the opposite of subtraction.
Difference the answer to a subtraction problem.
Estimating finding a number that is close to the exact answer. Use rounding before or after calculating.
Standards Form a way to write numbers by using the digits 0-9, with each digit having a place value.
Sum the answer to an addition problem.
