red the color that represents the feast of a martyr, Good Friday, Pentecost, and Palm Sunday
purple the color for Advent and Lent and symbolizes penance
Triduum celebrated from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday
pink the color that is used on the 3rd Sunday of Advent and represents Joy
Easter liturgical season where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus
Pentescost celebrated after the Easter season before ordinary time
