Shift clicking means holding down the shift key while you click the mouse. (This is how you group objects)
Handles are small squares at the edge of a graphic.
Skewing changing the shape and size of an object out of proportion.
Logo is a graphic or symbol that represents and organization
Object is a graphic image that you can manipulate.
Fill includes patters, solids, or shades inside an object
Symetrical layout a layout that includes shapes and text that are the same on both sides of the page.
Asymetrical layout a layout that include shapes or text that are not the same on both sides of the text.
Graphic pictures that illustrate the meaning of text.
Font a specific design of type, style, and size of text
Clip art a collection of graphics that are already drawn and available for use.
Serifs Font with tiny lines at the ends of each character
Points how are type faces measured
Sans-Serif font that does not have lines at the end of each character
Desktop Publishing Using a computer to combine texts, graphics, and artwork on a page to create an effective publication.
