| Term | Definition |

| Obtuse Angle | An angle with a measure of greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees. |
| Obtuse Triangle | A triangle with one obtuse angle. |
| Acute Angle | An angle with a measure of greater than zero degrees but less than 90 degrees. |
| Acute Triangle | A triangle with one acute angle. |
| Endpoint | The point at the beginning of a ray or line segment. |
| Intersecting Lines | Lines that cross or meet each other. |
| Line | A straight set of points that extend forever in opposite directions. |
| Line Segment | Part of a line between 2 endpoints. |
| Ray | Part of a line that has one endpoint and goes on forever in one direction. |
| Parallel | Lines that are always the same distance apart and will never cross. |
| Perpendicular | Lines that cross or meet to form right angles. |
| Point | An exact location on a line represented by a dot. |
| Right Angle | An angle with a measure of exactly 90 degrees. |
| Right Triangle | A triangle with one 90 degree (right) angle. |
