Pictorial Drawing
| Term | Definition |

| Axonometric Projection | A projection that uses three axes |
| Cabinet obluque | receding lines are 1/2 size |
| Cavalier oblique | receding lines are full length |
| Dimetric projection | two of the angles are the same |
| isometric axes | Axes that are 120 degrees apart |
| isomtric drawing | the object drawn so that it aligns with the axes that are 120 degrees apart |
| isoplane | the plane that is parallel to one of the isometric cube sides |
| normal oblique | receding lines are 3/4 length |
| perspective drawing | A drawing that is created using a vanishing point and is drawn as is viewed with the eye |
| picture plane | the plane that is facing the viewer directly |
| technical illustration | Pictorial drawings that include specifications and certain details. such assemblies or identification |
| trimetric projection | all three angles are different |
| vanishing point | The point where all receding axes meet |
