Graphing Flashcards

QuestionAnswer
Bar Graph a way to organize and show information that uses bars to represent data
Double Bar Graph compares 2 sets of data
Scale the series of fixed numbers on the graph at equal intervals (distances) apart *like a number line
Interval the difference between any 2 numbers on the scale example: is the scale going by 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, etc.
Line Graph shows changes in data over time by connecting data points with line segments to show changes or trends
Trends areas in which the data increases, decreases, or stays the same
Data information that is collected
Tally Table tally marks are used to record data
Survey asking different people the same question or questions and recording their answers
