Math 6th grade

Vocabulary terms in 6th grade math

QuestionAnswer
Constant a value or number that does not change
Term is either a single number or variable, or numbers and variables multiplied together. Terms are separated by + or − signs
Distribute to pass out equally. In math this is done by multiplying the number or sign outside by each term inside parentheses
Combine to put together. In math we can combine "like terms". This can be made up of numbers to combine or variables to the same power.
