Writing Linear Functions
| Term | Definition |

| Linear constraint | A constant relationship between two variables. |
| Viable (solution) | Given a linear constraint, a true output for a given input value. |
| Nonviable (solution) | Given a linear constraint, a false output for a given input value. |
| arithmetic sequence | A sequence obtained by repeatedly adding the same number to a given starting number. |
| common difference | The difference between two sequential terms in an arithmetic sequence. |
