Bicameral government : having, consisting of

Manumission formal emancipation from slavery
Proportional corresponding in size, degree, or intensity
Compromise settlement of differences by arbitration or by consent reached by mutual concessions
Federalism the distribution of power in an organization
Legislative Branch the body with the legislative power to make laws.
Executive Branch The executive branch carries out and enforces laws. It includes the president, vice president, and the Cabinet.
Electoral College a body of electors, especially one that elects the president and vice president of the U.S.
Judicial Branch The judicial branch of the U.S. government is the system of federal courts and judges that interprets laws
Checks and Balances a system that allows each branch of a government to amend or veto acts of another branch so as to prevent any one branch from exerting too much power
Amendment a minor change or addition designed to improve a text, piece of legislation, etc. ALSO an article added to the US Constitution
