Your friend said she had 11 stickers. When you helped her clean her desk, she only had a total of 10 stickers. How many stickers are missing? 1
When you have a whole and one part you should: subtract
When you have two parts and no whole you should add
When you add two numbers together you get: A sum
When you subtract a number from another number you find: The difference
How many ones blocks are in a ten block? 10
When you break up a hundred block into tens blocks that is called: regrouping
100 + 10 = 110
100 + 100 = 200

When you add a number to itself that is called a doubles fact
