Matter Chemical and Physical

TermDefinition
heterogenous mixtures where particles are uniformly mixed and hard to separate (lemonade)
homogenous mixtures where particles are different in size (cookie dough ice cream)
physical change Substance is Same: Change in Appearance, State of Matter (gas, liquid, solid), shape.
chemical change New substance is formed: combustion, electrolysis, oxidation, tarnishing,
mixture Physical change, blending of substances or compounds
Law of Conservation of Matter Substances = before and after chemical and physical change
