| Greenhouse Gas | Those, especially with carbon dioxide or methane, that trap heat above earth and cause greenhouse effect. |
| Activists | A person who campaigns to bring out political or social change. |
| Inconceivable | Not capable of being imagined or grasped mentally; unbelievable. |
| Carbon footprint | A harmful amount of carbon dioxide that a person, company or industry produces when doing normal activities, driving, heating or producing goods. |
| Climate | The weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period. |
| Harvesting | Gather (a crop) as a harvest. |
| Convert | Cause to change inform, character or function. |
| Preserve | Maintain (something) in its original or existing state. |
| Depletion | Reduction in the number or quantity of something. |
| Inhabitants | A person or animal that lives in or occupies a place. |
| Conserve | Prevent wasteful or harmful overuse of a resource. |
| Composting | Treat with compost. |
| Incentives | A thing that motivates or encourages one to do something. |
| Pollution | The presence in the environment of a substance that has harmful or poisonous effects. |
| Toxic | Poisonous. |
| Capitalist | Wealthy person who uses money to invest in trade and industry for profit. |
| Revitalization | the action of imbuing something with new life and vitality. |
| Degradation | The condition or process of degrading or being degraded. |
| Stakeholders | A person with an interest or concern in something, especially a business. |
