TermDefinition
Quadrants The four regions determined by the x and y axis. Labeled I, II, II and IV.
Coordinate plane A plane divided into 4 sections where the x and the y axis intersect.
Origin The point where the x and y axis intersect. (0,0)
Ordered pair Two numbers where the 1st value is the x and the second is the y.
Coordinate point An ordered pair showing a specific location on the coordinate plane.
