Complex Fraction A fraction in a fraction
Constant of Proportionality A ratio of two quantities
Constant Rate of Change The rate of change in a linear relationship
Constant of Variation The constant ratio in a direct variation
Coordinate Plane A plane where horizontal and vertical number line intersect
Cross Products When the numerator has a ratio and the denominator has the other.
Dimensional Analysis using units of measurement when computing
Direct Variation the relationship between two variable quantities that have a constant ratio
Equivalent Ratios Two ratios that have the same value
Non-proportional The relationship between two ratios that is not constant
Proportion An equation saying both ratios are equal
Proportional Two ratios with a constant rate
Ordered Pair A pair of numbers used to locate a point on a grid
origin where the two axis meet on a grid
quadrants One of the four regions into which the two perpendicular number lines separate the plain
rate A certain amount of something
rate of change A rate that describes how one quantity changes in relation to another
slope The rate of change between any two points on a line
unit rate A rate with 1 in the denominator
unit ratio A unit rate where the denominator is one unit
x-axis The horizontal number line in a coordinate plane
x-coordinate The first number of an ordered pair
y-axis The vertical number line on a coordinate plane
y-coordinate The second number of an ordered pair
