| dimensional analysis | the process of including units of measurement when you comput |
| direct variation | a relationship between two variable quantities with a constant ratio |
| equivalent ratios | two ratios that have the same value |
| non portional | is a line that does not cross through the origin |
| proportion | a line that does cross through the origin |
| proportional | proper relation between things or parts |
| ordered pair | a pair of numbers used to locate a point in the coordinate plane |
| origin | The point of intersection of the x-axis and y-axis |
| quadrants | The four section of the coordinate plane |
