| Metalloid | Element with the properties of both metals and nonmetals. |
| Mass Number | Sum of the protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom. |
| Electron Cloud | System of electrons surrounding the nucleus of an atom. |
| Atom | Smallest particle of a substance that can exist by itself. |
| Precision | The quality of being exact. |
| Accuracy | The ability to work without mistakes. |
| Scientific Notation | Method that expresses the number multiplied by 10 and the appropriate power. |
| Percent Error | Experimental value minus the accepted value, divided by the accepted value and then multiplied by 100. |
