Chemistry A science that deals with the structure and properties of matter and energy
Noble Gases Group 18 in the periodic table with a full outer shell
Atomic Number Amount of protons in a nucleus of an atom
Nuclear Fusion A reaction in which two different nuclei join and form a larger nuclei
Isotope Atoms with differing amounts of neutrons, but the same amount of protons
Significant Figure The figure of a number that expresses a magnitude to a specific degree of accuracy
Density Mass per unit of volume
Metalloid Elements that have properties of both metals and nonmetals
Mass Number Sum of the protons and neutrons
Electron Cloud System of electrons around a nucleus
Atom The smallest particle part of an element which includes protons, neutrons, and electrons
