| low speed handpiece | requires latch type burs and push back burs. Can spin up to 10,000-40,000 rpm |
| contra angle | to use with burs for intraoral and extraoral procedures to remove decay. |
| straight handpiece | used with contra angle, lab burs, prophy cups and brushes, discs etc. |
