| patient (noun) | a sick or injured person (or animal) |

| prescription | a doctor's note for a patient to get medicine |
| pharmacy | drugstore |
| pharmacist | person who fills prescriptions |
| fill a prescription | use the doctor’s order to prepare medicines for the patient |
| refill | a new supply of medicine |
| expiration date | the time to put something in the trash; the time something is not best to use |
| prescription medicine | you can get ONLY with a doctor's order |
| temporarily | for a short time, not permanent |
| due to | because of (on signs and labels); caused by (in a sentence) |
| reduce | decrease; "bring down" |
| relieve | make less, remove |
| fever | a high body temperature |
