TermDefinition
Area The number of square units inside a shape
radius The distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle
diameter The distance across a circle through its center
pi The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter (3.14)
width The measurement of a shape from side to side.
length the measurement between two points of a shape (usually the longest side)
base The side of a triangle which is perpendicular to the height
height the measurement of how tall a shape is
