Math Grade 4

TermDefinition
Area Length x Width
Area the amount of space a shape/object takes up
Perimeter the distance around a shape/object
Acute an angle less than 90 degrees
Obtuse an angle more than 90 degrees
Right a 90 degree angle
Denominator tells the size of fraction pieces you are working with
Numerator tells how many of the fraction pieces you are working with
Prime a number that has only one set of factors
Composite a number that has more than one set of factors
