| benefits | The positive and good points or results about something |
| calories | People often count these when they want to lose weight; it's the energy found in food |
| diet | Your normal eating plan; a healthy one includes fruits and vegetables |
| expand | To enlarge or make something bigger or wider |
| fast | To not eat anything for a certain time period, sometimes for health or religious reasons |
| food chemist | A scientist who studies and does experiments with food |
| isolate | To keep separate from other things or other people; many people do this now so they do not catch or give the corona virus |
| nutritious | Food that is healthy and good for the body; usually has many minerals and vitamins |
| respond | To react to something or someone such as medicine, a comment |
| restrict | To limit something such as calories or sweets; to reduce the use or activity |
| seaweed | A type of vegetable from the ocean; it has many minerals for the body and is sometimes used with soup, salad, or rice |
| significantly | When something is done in a big way or changes a lot |
