length the distance between two points

curvimeter is used to measure the length of a curved line
a trundle wheel is used to measure distance along the road

volume is the amount of space something takes up

a cylinder can be used to measure volume of a liquid
meniscus is the curved line on the the surface of a liquid
to find the volume of a cube multiply the length by the width by the height
to find the volume of a large stone use a cylinder and an over flow can
if an object floats in water push it under to find its volume
mass is the amount of matter in an object
mass is measured in grams or kilograms
temperature is a measure of how hot something is
temperature is measured in degrees celsius
to measure mass use the balance or scales
