What is an example of natural chemicals? Water, gases in the air, and proteins.
How many atoms are there in a particle of a protein? Hundreds or thousands
What are four of the natural chemicals that the human body makes? Carbon dioxide, enzymes, proteins and fats
What are synthetic chemicals? Human-made, not made by natural processes
What chemicals may be found in food? Usually natural chemicals and synthetic chemicals
What are examples of synthetic chemicals? Plastic, artificial sweeteners and nylon
