Pericles Leader of Athens who made Athens become a more democratic city-state. He picked peoples positions due to their abilities.
Representative Democracy a form of democracy in which citizens elect officials to govern on their behalf.
Direct Democracy a form of democracy in which all citizens can participate first hand in the decision making process.
Delian League a defensive league or protective group to defend its members against the persians .
