Sociology the systematic study of human society and social interaction
Sociological imagination he ability to see the relationship between individual experiences and the larger society.
Theory a set of logically interrelated statements that attempts to describe, explain, and (occasionally) predict social events
Conflict theory is in a state of perpetual conflict because of competition for limited resources.
Functionalist theory each aspect of society is interdependent and contributes to society's stability and functioning as a whole
Symbolic Interactionalist the sociological approach that views society as the sum of the interactions of individuals and groups.
Macro- Sociology the sociological study of large-scale social systems and long-term patterns and processes.
