What is blood made up of? Blood is made up of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets
How many times will the heart beat during a lifetime? 3 billion times
What is the function of the heart? Pump blood throughout the body.
What is the function of white blood cells? Immunity
What is the function of red blood cells? Carry oxygen throughout the body
What do platelets do? Platelets help stop bleeding when a blood vessel is damaged.
What is the heart made up of? It is made up of strong cardiac muscle tissue.
