Subjuntivos

3 Reglas Simples para Subjuntivos

REGLA 1: Una frase que tiene el verbo en indicativo y la sigue una frase con que, el siguiente verbo es subjuntivo:
I hope that you enjoy the game. Espero que DISFRUTES el juego.
You want him to eat healthy. Quieres que (el) COMA sano. (yo y el 1ª y 3·ª del singular a veces se conjugan igual y, cuando no decimos yo o el, a veces no se sabe a quien se refiere, aunque por el contexto casi siempre se sabe).
He would like her to come with him. Le gustaria que VENGA con el.
We hope that they can be more careful. Esperemos que TENGAN mas cuidado. to be carefull es "tener cuidado"
You (plural) would like them to play football. Nos gustaría que JUEGUEN fútbol. Está bien, pero decimos mas "Nos gustaría que JUGARAN/JUGASEN al fútbol (pretérito imperfecto de subjuntivo)
They want us to go with them. Quieren que VAYAMOS con ellos.
REGLA 2: Frases que expresan hipótesis usan subjuntivo pero no llevan "que":
Maybe he has ridden the bike today. Quizá HAYA MONTADO en la bicicleta hoy.
Maybe they need more time. Tal vez NECESITEN más tiempo.
Maybe you would like to come with us. A lo mejor te gustaria venir con nosotros. (después de condicional normalmente va el infinitivo o "que mas pretérito imperfecto de subjuntivo; ejemplos: me gustaría ir contigo; me gustaría que vinieras/vinieses con el)
REGLA 3: Hay excepciones con el QUE pero es cuando NO indican un DESEO sino que indican una REALIDAD:
I have a car that is very fast. (realidad) Tengo un coche que ES muy rapido.
I would like to have a car that is very fast. (deseo) Me gustaría tener (misma regla que hemos visto) un coche que SEA muy rápido.
She has a yacht that has three sails. (realidad) Tiene un yate que TIENE tres velas.
She is looking for a yacht that has three sails. (deseo) Busca un yate que TENGA tres velas.
They have a house that has four bedrooms. (realidad) Tienen una casa que TIENE cuatro dormitorios.
They want a house that has four bedrooms. (deseo) Quieren una casa que TENGA cuatro dormitorios.
