Today we had a very good day skiing in the mountains as there was a lot of snow. Hoy tuvimos un muy buen día esquiando en las montañas ya que había mucha nieve.

You need to walk slowly when there is ice on the footpath. Necesitas caminar(andar) lentamente (despacio) cuando hay hielo en el sendero.
