Network Interface The TCP/IP stack version of the physical and data-link layers from the OSI model
Network Interface The lowest layer in the TCP/IP stack
Network layer The third layer in the OSI model
Packets The PDU for the Network layer
Internet layer The TCP/IP stack equivalent of the Network layer from the OSI model
Transport layer The fourth layer of the OSI model
Transport layer The third layer of the TCP IP stack
Transport layer The TCP/IP stack equivalent of the Transport layer from the OSI model
Segments The PDU for the Transport layer
PDU Protocol data units
PDUs Bits/signal, frames, packets, segments
