pitch frequency of sound
infrasonic sound waves with frequencies below 20Hz.
ultrasonic sound waves with frequencies above 20,000Hz.
compression pulse of compressed air.
rarefaction pulse of low-pressure air
natural frequency frequency at which an object vibrates when it's disturbed.
forced vibration when an object is made to vibrate by another vibrating object near by.
resonance phenomenon that occurs when the frequency of a vibration forced on an object matches the object's natural frenquency and adramatic increase in amplitude occurrs.
