Metals | Found on the far left of the Periodic Table. |
Metalloids | Zig Zag line on the table, in the middle/right. |
Non-Metals | Found on the far right of the Periodic Table. |
Luster | Characteristics of metals and it means to shine. |
Malleable | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to be flattened without crumbling. |
Ductile | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to be drawn out into a thin wire. |
Semiconductor | Characteristics of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometimes. |
Brittle | Characteristics of nonmetals and it means to crumble. |
Dull | Characteristics of non-metals and it means to have no luster. |
Corrosive | Characteristics of metals, it is the ability to rust. |
Melting | State of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a liquid. |
Boiling | State of matter change occurs when a liquid goes to a gas. |
Evaporation | State of matter change , occurs when liquid goes to gas. This occurs on the surface of the liquid . |
Freezing | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to solid. |
Condensation | State of the matter change, occurs when gas goes to liquid. |
Deposition | State of matter change , occurs when gas goes to solid. |
Sublimation | Sate of matter change, occurs when solid goes to gas. |
