| Metals | Found in the far left of the periodic table |
| Metalloids | Zig Zag line on the table , middle /right |
| Non-Metals | Found on the far right of the periodic table |
| Luster | Characteristics of metals and it means to shine |
| Malleable | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to flattened without crumbling |
| Ductile | Characteristics of metals and it means to able to be drawn out into a thin wire |
| Semiconductor | Characteristics of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometimes |
| Brittle | Characteristics of non-metals and it means to crumble |
| Dull | Characteristics of non-metals and it means to have no luster |
| Corrosive | Characteristics of metals, it is the abilities to be able to rust |
| Melting | State of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a liquid |
| Boiling | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to gas, this occurs throughout the entire liquid |
| Evaporation | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to gas, this occurs throughout the surface of the liquid |
| Freezing | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid turns into a solid |
| Condensation | State of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a liquid |
| Deposition | State of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a solid |
| Supplementation | State of matter change, occurs when a solid turns into a gas |
