Metals | Found on the far left of the periodic table. |
Metalloid | Zigzag line on the table, in the middle/right. |
Non-Metal | Found on the far right of the periodic table. |
Luster | Characteristics of metals and it means to shine. |
Malleable | Characteristics of metals and it means to be flattened without crumbling. |
Ductile | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to be drawn out into a thin wire. |
Semiconductor | Characteristics of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometimes. |
Brittle | Characteristics of non-metals and means to crumble. |
Dull | Characteristics of non-metal and means to have no luster. |
Corrosive | Characteristics of metals, it is the ability to rust. |
Melting | state of matter change, occurs when a solid turns to a liquid. |
Boiling | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid turns into a gas. |
Evaporation | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid turns into a gas. |
Freezing | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid turns into a solid. |
Condensation | state of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a liquid |
Deposition | state of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a solid. |
Sublimation | state of matter change, occurs when a solid goes into a gas. |
