| Term | Definition |

| Metals | Found on the far left of the periodic table. |
| Metalloids | Zig Zag line on the table, in the middle/right. |
| Non Metals | Found on the far right of the periodic table. |
| Luster | Characteristic of metals and it mean shiny. |
| Malleable | Characteristic of metals and it means to be able to be flatten without crumbling. |
| Ductile | Characteristic of metals and it means to be able to be drawn into a thin wire. |
| Semiconductor | Characteristic of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometime. |
| Brittle | Characteristic of nonmetals and it means to crumble. |
| Dull | Characteristic of nonmetals and means to have no luster. |
| Corrosive | Characteristic of metals, it is the ability to rust. |
| Melting | State of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a liquid. |
| Boiling | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to a gas all around |
| Evaporation | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid to a gas on only the top |
| Freezing | State of matter change, occurs when a liquid turns into a solid. |
| Condensation | State of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a liquid |
| Deposition | State of matter change, occurs when a gas turns into a solid |
| Sublimation | State of matter change, occurs when a solid turns into a gas |
