Metals | Found on the left of the periodic table |
Metalliods | Zig Zag line on the table, in the middle/right |
Non-Metals | Found on the far right of the periodic table |
Luster | Characteristics of metals and it means to shine |
Malleable | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to be flatten without crumbling |
Ductile | Characteristic of metals and it means to be able to be drawn out into a thin wire |
Semiconductor | Characteristics of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometimes |
brittle | Characteristics of nonmetals and it means to crumble |
Dull | Characteristics of nonmetals and it means that is has no luster |
Corrosive | Characteristics of metals, it is the ability to rust |
Melting | State of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a liquid |
Boiling | State of matter occurs when the temperature of the liquid gets greater than the gas |
Evaporation | State of matter change occurs when the temperate of the liquid throughout of the liquid |
Freezing | state of matter change when a liquid goes to a solid |
Condensation | State of matter change when a gas goes to a liquid |
Deposition | State of matter when a gas goes to a solid |
Sublimation | State of matter when a solid goes to a liquid |
