| Non-Metals | Found on the far right of the table |
| Luster | Characteristics of metals and it means to shine |
| Malleable | Characteristics of metals and it means to be flattened without crumbling |
| Ductile | Characteristics of metals and it means to be able to be drawn out into a thin wire |
| Semiconductor | Characteristics of metalloids and it means to conduct heat and electricity sometimes |
| Brittle | Characteristics of non-metals and it means to crumble |
| Dull | Characteristics of non-metals and it means to have no luster |
| Corrosive | Characteristics of metals, it is the ability to rust |
| Melting | state of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a liqued |
| Boiling | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to a gas This occurs throughout the entire liquid |
| Evaporation | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to a gas. This occurs on the surface of the liquid |
| Freezing | state of matter change, occurs when a liquid goes to a solid |
| Condensation | state of matter change, occurs when a gas goes to a liquid |
| Deposition | state of matter change, occurs when a gas goes to a solid |
| Sublimation | state of matter change, occurs when a solid goes to a gas |
