Why did the pharaohs lose control of the Old Kingdom? They had spend too many resources on royal tombs and the nobility no longer followed them.
Compare and Contrast the Old Kingdom and the Middle Kingdom The Old Kingdom was a time of more prosperity and stability The Middle Kingdom reunited Egypt after a period of chaos, marked by periods of instability. Both kingdoms took place in ancient Egypt.
