| Term | Definition |

| Supplementary Angles | Two angles whose measures add up to 180 degrees |
| Complementary Angles | Two angles whose measures add up to 90 degrees |
| Straight Angle | An angle that measures exactly 180 degrees |
| Vertex | The point of intersection of the two rays that form an angle, the common endpoint of an angle |
| Adjacent Angles | Two angles share a common side and a common vertex |
| Vertical Angles | Two non-adjacent angles formed by the intersection of two lines, opposite angles |
| Congruent Angles | Same angle in degrees |
| Acute Angle | An angle who is smaller than 90 degrees |
| Obtuse Angle | An angle that is more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees |
| Angle | the figure formed by 2 rays sharing a vertex |
| Perpendicular Lines | 2 lines that meet at a right angle |
| Right Angle | Angle who measures exactly 90 degrees |
| Parallel Lines | 2 lines that don't meet |
| Ray | Line with a single endpoint |
| Segment | Part of a line that is bounded by 2 end points |
| Transversal | A line that cuts across 2 or more lines |
| Bisect | Dividing Line of 2 lines |
| Corresponding | When 2 lines are crossed by another line, the angles of the matching corners |
| Midpoint | The point on a line segment that divides it into 2 equal parts |
