Lines and line segments on a circle

| Circle | The set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point. |
| Center | The point from which all points of a circle are equidistant |
| Radius | The segment between the center and point on a circle |
| Chord | A segment on the interior of a circle whose endpoints are on a circle |
| Diameter | A segment between 2 points on a circle, which passes thru the center of the circle. |
| Secant | A line that intersects the circle at exactly one point |
| Tangent | A line that intersects the circle at exactly one point. |
