| Personification | the attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman |
| Polysyndetion | repetition of conjunctions in close succession, too many |
| Simile | comparing two unlike things that is often introduced by like or as |
| Tautology | needless repetition of an idea, statement, or word |
| Ethos | Stating authority or epiphany |
| Logos | Point out logical reasoning |
| Pathos | drawing out an emotion from the audience |
