Where should i use periods? You should use peridods at they end of a sentence or abbreviations.
When do I use a question mark? You use question marks at the emd of a question.
Where do you use exclimation marks? You use exclimation marks at the end of an exclimation.
When can you use both a period and exclimation mark? You use both at the end of a request.
What do commas do in a sentence? Commas separate items in a sentence or separate 2 or more adj. that come before a noun.
When do you know where to use a commas? Use commas before and, but, for, nor,or, so, or yet.
Can you use commas at an exclimation? You can use commas at a ecliamation but that only interrupts a sentence.
Can you use commas to set off words? You use commas to set off words that are used in direct and parenthetical expression.
When do you use commas in intro elements? You use commas after intro elemets and yes, no, or any mild excliamation.
When are commas used in a phrase? Use commas in the intro phrases.
When ar commas used in a clauses? Use commas after clauses.
When do you use semicolons? Use semicolons between independent clauses if they arent joined by and, but, for, nor, or, so, or yet.
Cann use a semicolon rather than a comma? yes you can.
Can you use semicolons for listing? Yes.
When do you use colons? Use colons when there is a time, a buiness letter, or btween a titles and subtitles.
